Uitgesteld genot
What could be better than pure enjoyment? Anticipating the enjoyment. The same goes for that first sip of Brand. We see a man in a sun-drenched sidewalk café with his friends. He lifts a glass of fresh draught Brand to his lips. We then see the sheer sensation of pleasure just before the highpoint. Only when the voice-over says, ‘That’s how it’s supposed to taste,’ are all the promises fulfilled.
Wat is er fijner dan genot? Uitgesteld genot. Dat geldt ook voor die eerste slok Brand. We zien een man op een stralend zonnig terras met zijn vrienden. Hij tilt een vers getapt glas Brand richting zijn lippen. Vervolgens zien we de sensatie van genot, vlak voor het hoogtepunt. Pas als de voice-over zegt: “Zo hoort ie te smaken”, worden de beloftes ingelost.
